Privacy notice
Classroom Audio Technology Ltd is responsible for the personal information it receives through this website and related enquiries. This notice explains what information may be handled, why it is used and the choices available to you.
Information you choose to provide
The website enquiry form prepares an email in your own email application. The website does not store the form fields. If you send the email, Classroom Audio Technology will receive the name, email address, organisation, enquiry type, message and any other information you include.
You may also provide information by phone, direct email or during a consultation. Please avoid sending medical, educational or employment information that is not necessary for the enquiry.
Technical information
The hosting provider may process limited technical data needed to deliver and secure the website, such as an IP address, device or browser information, requested pages, timestamps and security logs. Classroom Audio Technology does not currently use advertising trackers or visitor analytics on this website.
Why information is used
- To answer enquiries and provide requested information, quotations, demonstrations or support.
- To take steps requested before entering a contract and to deliver agreed services.
- To keep appropriate business, service, warranty, safety, tax and accounting records.
- To protect the website, systems, customers and business from misuse or security threats.
- To meet legal and regulatory obligations.
The applicable legal basis under data-protection law depends on the context and may include your request or consent, steps before or performance of a contract, a legal obligation, or a legitimate business interest that does not override your rights.
Sharing and international processing
Information may be handled by service providers supporting email, website hosting, IT, accounting, repairs or professional advice, only to the extent needed for their role. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or to establish, exercise or defend legal rights.
Some providers may process information outside Ireland or the European Economic Area. Where required, appropriate transfer safeguards should be used by the relevant provider.
How long information is kept
Enquiries are kept only as long as reasonably needed to respond, manage follow-up, provide services, maintain warranty or support history, satisfy legal or accounting obligations and resolve disputes. Retention periods vary with the nature of the record.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or portability, and to withdraw consent where consent is the basis used. Rights are not absolute and lawful exceptions can apply.
To make a request, email eoin@classroomaudiotech.com. You may also raise a concern with Ireland’s Data Protection Commission.
Children’s information
This website is directed to adults acting for schools, families, workplaces and organisations. Do not submit a child’s sensitive or identifying information through the website form. Where information about a child is genuinely needed to provide an agreed service, it should be handled through an appropriate direct and secure process.
Changes and questions
This notice may be updated when the website, services or legal requirements change. The date above shows the current version. For questions, email eoin@classroomaudiotech.com or see the contact page.
