Safe first checks
Try these in order. If something looks damaged, unusually hot or unsafe, stop and request service.

Confirm power
Check the DigiMaster power supply at the wall and at the loudspeaker, then confirm the indicator light is on.

Reconnect the teacher microphone
Switch on the Touchscreen Mic and DigiMaster. Hold the microphone within 3 cm of the upper part of the loudspeaker, then tap the Connect icon. The screen should confirm that the DigiMaster is connected; the exact model name may vary.

Before you begin

- The correct Phonak stand or wall-mount kit
- A charged Roger Touchscreen Mic

Fit the correct stand or wall mount
Use the model-specific floor, tripod, desk stand or wall-mount kit supplied for your DigiMaster. Follow the matching Phonak video and instructions. The simple wall-mount route is directly below.

Connect power and switch on
Plug the supplied 19 V / 3.2 A power unit into the socket at the bottom of the DigiMaster, then connect it to the mains. Switch on and check the light at the top.

Connect the teacher microphone
Switch on the Roger Touchscreen Mic and DigiMaster. Hold the microphone within 3 cm of the top of the loudspeaker and tap Connect. The screen should confirm the connection. Connect additional DigiMaster 7000 speakers one at a time.

Test the room
Unmute the microphone and speak normally while someone listens from different parts of the room. Keep the microphone within the stated 25 m operating range and keep the power lead away from walkways.

Watch the full Phonak video once. Play it again and pause after each step while you work.

Match
Place the DigiMaster and wall-mount parts on a table. Stop if the bracket does not match the loudspeaker shown in the video.

Choose
Pick a clear wall position near a mains socket. The supplied power lead must reach easily and stay away from walkways.

Check
Before drilling, a responsible adult must identify the wall type and check for hidden cables or pipes. Use fixings made for that wall.

Fix
Hold the bracket level, mark the holes and secure it as shown. Support the DigiMaster while fitting it and attach every retaining part.

Connect
Plug in and switch on. Hold the Touchscreen Mic within 3 cm of the top of the DigiMaster, tap Connect, then test normal speech around the room.

Something isn’t working
Work through one symptom
Do not change several settings at once. After each check, test the same simple speech task again.
The DigiMaster has no power
Check the wall socket, power cable and connector at the loudspeaker. Use only the manufacturer-specified power supply. If there is visible damage, heat or an electrical smell, disconnect it safely and request service.
The DigiMaster is on but there is no sound
Confirm that the teacher microphone is charged, switched on and unmuted. Hold it within 3 cm of the upper part of the DigiMaster and tap Connect. The screen should confirm the connection; the exact message depends on the DigiMaster model. Note the indicator-light behaviour if support is still needed.
Computer or Bluetooth audio is not playing
First confirm that microphone speech still plays through SoundField. A 3.5 mm audio input is available on the supported units; Bluetooth streaming applies only to DigiMaster 5000 V2 and 7000 V2. Check the source output and follow the official guide for the installed model.
